Current Programs
We currently offer in person and remote programs for community members of all ages. Programs are collaboratively designed based on needs identified by children, youth, families, the community, and SUNY Buffalo State. Please view our CAC Program Report for recent data.
Buffalo State S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math) and Buffalo Beginnings Bridge ran this year as two programs funded by the Cullen Foundation. Both programs were offered to multilingual families in the Buffalo community and included family engagement activities, virtual home visits, and desktops provided by Mission Ignite and additional support from M&T Bank.
CAC Adult Education
ENL and U.S. Citizenship Classes
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Zoom
Prepares recent immigrants and former refugees to take the U.S. naturalization exam.

CAC Youth Programs
Global Youth Leaders
A high school program for multilingual students which provides career, college, and community exploration. Students participate in service projects, civic leadership development, and college and career exploration.
Buffalo State University STEAM
Engages middle school students in grades 5-8 in a project-based, STEAM-focused curriculum. The after-school program will feature instruction from Buffalo State students and faculty, along with guest experts in various STEAM fields, with field trips and exciting activities.
Part-time AmeriCorps ABLES
Engages Buffalo State students in 300 hours of service in CAC educational programs and leadership development to earn an education award. Students provide direct service to community students utilizing their unique skills and talents.
